Basketball gives me a sense of power and a sense of struggle at the same time. This is a sport that I really have to try hard at. It is DEFINITELY a good way of challenging what I know! Plus, I get to spend time with some really amazing women!

Short-term basketball goals: I want to be able to feel more confident in my shooting, enough so that I can score in a game. Longer-term personal goals: To learn from every experience and spend more time in far-away lands.

My personal achievements include going to the moon and back, becoming a spy posing as a flight attendant for the Russian mafia, and volunteering with tribal Indians when a sort of voodoo curse was placed upon me giving me the inability to successfully set both feet on the ground… seriously, I have no clue.

I love to swim, bike, do triathlons, and try out marathons. I also love teaching and coaching and spending time exploring the unknown.

I admire my grandmother the most. She lived her life fully and without regret. She was able to change the lives of many and so loved by all.

The Cubs? Just kidding… I am still learning basketball, so I would consider all teams my favorite at this point.

My favorite athletes are the girls on my high school swim team. They are bright, honest, hardworking, and devoted.
My favorite band is DeVotchKa, a local band out of Denver. Look them up! They play roughly 13 different instruments including the accordion, sousaphone, and the bouzouki!
My favorite film is a French film, “Amelie,” followed closely by an Israeli film called, “Jellyfish.”

I can’t get enough Pad Thai!
